Angah and Kak Ngah's wedding reception

Assalamualaikum

Dear readers,

I know, it has been some time since I post on my blog though that would never mean I would neglect it totally. This year, I have IB exam which means I would be a lil busy. I'll try to make time for the things I like though :p

Anyways, enough about that, I wanted to write about my brother's (Angah) wedding. It went really great. The bride's side was in Ampang and the groom's side was in Bangi. Unfortunately, I do not own any pictures from the bride's side. Actually, I do have it but it is with Along (first brother) and I'm such a lazy bum to take it. No worries, I still have pictures from our side :)

Before that, I'm going to write about it, okeh?

The bride's side reception was on December 31, 2011 at De Palma Hotel, Ampang. Our family went at about 40 people I think. Their theme was grey and also was a very nice Malay dining reception. I missed all that while I was in Vienna. When the bride and groom were to come in the dining hall with the Kompang and stuff, I saw my brother. Well, this is a sad moment for me actually. Very sweetly, I see that sweet couple walking on the aisle towards the pelamin. I had that emotional breakdown for a moment and yet very happy. My brother smiled a lot and he looks so cute. Hahaha, sejak bila? I mean by cute was that his cheeky smile. I will miss that.

The next day on January 1, 2012 was the groom's side punya wedding pula. So, in the morning, my family, aunties, uncles, cousins and many others were at the hotel. Exceptional for the two pengantin tho. All of us were doing the rehearsal and the pelamin punya orang pun datang the night before to set up. The rehearsal went on quite well as Wahab and Liyana (my cousins) 'replaced' the bride and groom for a little while as they haven't show up yet. It went out quite well as the flower girls and page boys were behaving pretty well. We had imagined the event could be so nice if it went well.

Not long after, the King and Queen of the day arrived. One of the reasons they were late were actually because early in the morning Angah had an asthma attack. Luckily Kak Ngah and her mom were there, so they brought him to the hospital nearby. So far, it was okay. And eh, I didn't mention what was our theme. The theme for the groom's side is western theme. Somehow or rather, in the pictures I'll be putting up you'll realize there is quite a few others too that actually wears Malay traditional clothes.

Of all, the wedding went on really great. Plus the new year and all and yes, I got to meet my best friend, Dayang Norhamizah! Eheh, it does feel weird to call her whole name :p Unfortunately, I don't have the pictures with me. The photographers haven't gave the pictures yet. Though I will put it up when I have it later, insyaAllah.

Hence, the pictures you guys have been waiting for :

this picture was during the cutting the cake ceremony. Yes, there's quite a lot of flower girls and page boys. The one with a long tux is the best man.

Hence, the bride and groom :)

I wish you guys all the best, insyaAllah.

Yes, I know, there's not many pictures. Pardon me.

P.S. Yayang, I know I haven't tell you this yet. I got a new camera :) Sony 5N. Bet that after this when we hangout, we could take just as many pictures as we want together and yes, I don't have to wait for you to upload it anymore :p I love you!
Good day.

Recaps :)

Assalamualaikum

How long was it since I post? Quite long :3 Anyway, I'll just be putting the recaps on what had been going on for the past few weeks :)

1)   Congratulations to Angah and my new sis-in-law, Kak Ngah. Their solemnization was on the 11.11.11. A pretty date I dare say. I was feeling a bit sick that day so I didn't have to go to school. And yeay, I got to Skype with them. Just the unfortunate part was that I didn't get to see Angah 'ucap lafaz' live. Ignore that, whatever happens, they're already married :) Sorry peeps, I don't really have much picture for this so I won't be putting it up. To my Kak Ngah, well, I know you guys are stalking me, so yeah, I just wanted to say, welcome to our big family. I hope you can get along with us as we are kinda too awesome, mnyeheheh.

2)   On 17.11.11 was Angah's birthday. Nice timing. I mean, just after getting married, lulz. I received some pics from Angah during his birthday. Here it is:

"OMG, DID YOU SEE THAT?
HE GOT A TEDDY BEAR CAKE!
AND FOR MY SAKE, HE'S 27 AND I'M 16,
AND HEY, HOW COME I DIDN'T GET A TEDDY BEAR CAKE FOR MY BIRTHDAY?"

Now, that was just an expression. My first expression to be honest. K, so I am a bit jealous but I don't really crave for a teddy bear cake for my birthday. It would be nice though. Happy 27th Birthday, Angah. May God bless you always and hope you lead a peaceful life, insyaAllah. Wish you all the best in your new career and yeah, a wife now ;) Don't you ever forget me! *sigh* -.- Do you see the picture of a woman in the picture? well, that's my sis-in-law, Kak Ngah.

3)   On 20.11.2011 was my Daddy's birthday. He's 58 now. Happy 58th birthday, Daddy! Keep on being wise and thank you for all your guidance throughout my life. Without all that, I wouldn't have been what I am today besides the slackiness I have, hehe.

Unfortunately, on Daddy's birthday, we could not be together because he was in Japan due to some work. Therefore, I didn't have pics of his birthday :<

Good news was that, on this date too was when Mummy and Teh's family arrived in Vienna. I fetched them at the airport with one of dad's colleagues. I was so happy to see them after well, a few months. I hugged my cousins so hard they can barely breathe, lol. One of my cousins were sick by then which were quite unfortunate because it's autumn here and that means I expect more of sickness from her. Not that I want her to be sick but yeah, with the weather so cold and she's having a cold, that would mean a longer time to recover. Anyhoo, here's a pic bro took before they departed from Malaysia:

4)   Now, I planned to write where did I brought my cousins while they were here. Changed my mind. Today, we went to Semmering. In the first place, we were supposed to go skiing. However, there weren't enough snow to ski so we decided to slide! With what? Well, creativity. Mweheheh. It was fun really. We took loads of pics and also recordings though I'm not gonna put the videos up.

This two pictures above was our in the making of our snowman. For some reason, the uploader couldn't upload the snowman picture :/

Finally, it's uploaded! :) As you can see (or not), the result of sliding with the front part of the body towards the snow had made my pants wet and luckily for me, I brought some clothes to change. If you look at the snowman carefully, you'll see that the buttons is actually coins. Wahahahaha. Just because we had no small pebbles.

This part was the fun and funniest part of all . We wanted to try to sleigh down the hill which apparently we don't own a sledge. Instead, we used plastic to try to sleigh down. It's pretty pathetic (or at least I think so) but it was fun n_nV. Acu's position was supposed to be in front all of us and when we pushed her down with us, we actually didn't get to get down, instead we were stuck with bumps while Acu 'fled' away with the plastic. Hence, is why the picture of us rolling down the hill.

Guten Tag

P.S. I am going to be the bridesmaid for my sister-in-law. Bridesmaid ftw! :D

Autumn leaves

Assalamualaikum,

This morning I was awakened by a strong gust of wind through my bedroom window. I usually always opened a little bit of my window in order to get "fresh air". I was covering myself with a thick blanket but yet, it was still cold. So, no matter how lazy I was usually to get up in the morning, due to the coldness, I still had to wake up. If dah bangun, then tidur balik memang rugilah kan? Then I decided to take my shower and start getting ready to school. The morning breeze was indeed refreshing though sometimes it made me feel like going back to bed to cover up with my cozy blanket. haha :)

September 23, that is the official date of Autumn. It wasn't very cold like the last two weeks. As a matter of fact, my dad was able to play golf with his friends several times. So now, it is going to be cold, I bet there'd be no more days to go and accompany my dad to play golf. I wouldn't be going anywhere much either. My mum is not in here now. She just finished an operation for her knees back in homeland recently. My prayers for her so that she would recover as soon as possible. Amin.

As soon as I arrived school and opened the door, I smell the breeze. You know, that rain breeze, cool, and slightly makes you shiver and gives you goose bumps. (Kalau kat Malaysia, korang bayangkan macam di kala penghawa dingin paling sejuk and then korang kena mandi air sejuk)It made my day a bit down. I have no clue why. Maybe the fact that summer is over, maybe the fact that the day is gloomy and I feel like hugging someone, or maybe the fact that I just feel so.

Now, DID YOU READ THAT?

The story behind this is that my brother met him during my brother's graduation day. I don't know how it goes but I'm pretty sure that my brother were the one who brought up the topic about me, myeheheh.
I remembered how the adrenaline rush affected me. I was smiling all day long, and heh, go ask my dad, my cousins, my friends even, how chill I was that day. HAHA, perasan much? Well, you guys lah kena chill, he's married, with a kid already.

Ok, so I don't really remember the events last week, but meh, I've got news for you guys.

Remember the time that I said I applied for the Who I Am club? Well yeah, I got accepted! Fact: there's so much work when I start to involve myself with this thingy. I involved myself in to activities, one is One Week My Language and I Have A Voice.

One Week My Language is when people will put on display about their language at school. To educate other culture in some sense. Especially the minorities.

on the other side, I Have A Voice is an activity to help the primary school kids who has problem to talk in English and can't speak in any other languages except for their mother tongue. So, in our school we only have ONE boy that is from Malaysia and can't really speak English. So, by that we would help him :)

Now, I'm the activity coordinater for One Week My Language and tell me about it, it is soo *fill in the blank*.

Good day, peeps.

What? Where's the sambungan of the post? Meh, this post was supposed to be post like long ago, but I didn't really have time to do it. So, yeah, it is an incomplete post and will remain so. I won't have the sambungan for it for the next post I'll be doing. I mean like, I have other stuff to tell okay. :D. Tut mir leid.

Take care.
